(i) Sorbo Pouch®
Sorbo pouch contains silica gel of different types and comes in sizes of 0.5 gm to 528 gm depending on need and application.Sorbo pouch assures protection to practically all kind of goods including leather, garments, textiles, machinery, electrical and electronic components, pharmaceutical bottles etc.

(ii) Dew Pouch®
Dew pouch is a series of bagged activated desiccant formulated specially to provide much better moisture protection to goods as compared to Silica gel pouches.
Dew Pouch has a lot of advantages over silica gel which are highlighted as under:
- Much higher adsorption capacity than silica gel
- Protects products for longer duration than silica gel
- eliminates the problems of cargo sweat and container rain thus protecting valuable products which otherwise will be spoiled due to harmful effects of humidity variation
- much lesser quantity of Dew Pouch is required as compared to silica gel
Grades and Packing:
Dew Pouch is available in adsorption capacities from 40% to 280% and in pouch sizes of 0.5 gm to 2 kg.
1-2 kg. bags with hangers are also available.
(ii) Humidity Indicator Cards
Humidity Indicator Cards or HIC cards are used world over for quick indication of humidity levels inside any packing.
They are impregnated with a color indicator to denote humidity levels.
For example, if all of the dots are deep blue on a 6 SPOT card which is a 10%- 60% card than you can be assured that the humidity in that container is below 10%.
Similarly 3 SPOT cards also show humidity indication but for a more close range of 5% to 15%.
These are a must for packing for electronic and electrical components like chips, semi-conductors, switchgears, motors etc. because the humidity in the shipping packages of these products must remain below 10%.
These cards are not precision indicators. However, they are very good at telling you the maximum possible humidity in a packet.
