Bee Chems was established in 1972 by Mr. Somendra Bhalla, a Chemical Engineer and Present CEO. A challenge of producing an imported product in India gave the motivation to take a plunge into entrepreneurship.

Solving problems of the customers and working on improving their profitability since then has been the driving force behind growth of the company.

Working in the field of silica and alumina chemistry, Bee Chems became the first Indian company to manufacture colloidal silica. Since then the company has continuously given new products to the customers at regular intervals and became the first Indian company to make activated desiccants and eco-friendly silica gel.

Through the decades, we have been developing new products, substitutes and innovating to move up the value chain and offer different solutions to customers regularly.

From a single product to 5+ product categories, we today nurture relations with more than 200 regular customers and keep developing new associations.
